Black Panther is coming to Marvel’s Avengers
Crystal Dynamics have wasted no time in announcing the next addition to the roster of Marvel’s Avengers. Fans have barely had time to install today’s Hawkeye update before Marvel’s Avengers official Twitter account shared a trailer for Black Panther: War for Wakanda, which will drop later this year. The 54-second video gives us a glimpse at Wakanda and, of course, Black Panther. T’Challa will face off against Dr. Rappuccini in a fight to keep precious vibranium out of evil hands.
It comes as no surprise that Black Panther is on Crystal’s radar, being one of the most popular Marvel characters. Black Panther also featured on a leaked list of supposed upcoming heroes to be added to the game at a later date. This list also included Kate Bishop and Hawkeye which both proved to be valid predictions.
After Chadwick Bosemans death in August 2020, a lot of fans pushed for the character to be included in the game in memory of the late MCU actor.
With no exact release date announced, we can expect the Black Panther: War for Wakanda expansion later this year. In the meantime, an update was released today adding Clint Barton’s Hawkeye to the battle along with new game modes, improvements and an upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players.
