WHAT UP GUYS! I wanted to give everyone a heads up that there is a limited-time event going on in “Fortnite” today! Yesterday was the last day of Chapter 2, Season 5. Those that are familiar with the game know that there is typically a “Season-Ending” event the day a season ends/starts. You can experience this limited event today (3/16/21). Today is the first day of “Season 6”! Which has a “Primal” theme this time around. This season also introduces animals to the map!
As you can imagine, we get a new “Battle Pass” this season. There is a “Free” pass as usual. However it is very limited on the amount of items you unlock. The Battle Pass is 950 V-BUCKS or you can purchase the “Fortnite Crew” for $11.99 a month. (Which includes the Battle Pass + 1000 V-BUCKS). The Season 6 “Battle Pass” includes familiar guest characters like “Lara Croft” (Tomb Raider) and Raven (Teen Titans)! On top of that, it looks like we will be getting “Neymar Jr.” as a playable skin as well. It looks like this will be unlocked somehow via the “Battle Pass”. The challenge isn’t available quite yet, but it looks like it is “Coming Soon”
The Season-Ending Event includes a pretty awesome cut-scene as well as a “Single-Player Experience” that last about 7-8 minutes or so. What did you guys think of the “Season-Ending Event” for Season 5 in Fortnite?! Are you excited Lara Croft made it into Fortnite? Or are you sick of seeing cherished IP marketed into Fortnite? Personally, I think it’s pretty cool seeing all of these different IP’s interact with each other. (I am just not a fan of making them look foolish dancing)
